PERSONALITY “Have you ever wondered ‘why in a world of games has Duel Monsters made such a big impact’?” This might be the first thing you hear from Markus after meeting him. There are hundreds if not thousands of games out there, and Markus wants to play them all. He’s studied rules for every game he can find, but this tends to leave him strapped for cash.Most of his social skills only apply to games, and if he ever makes a social error he attempts to begin a game immediately so as to get his point across in the way he knows will work.

HISTORY Markus was born in America but is currently living in a small flat in Shibuya for college. One that is covered in stray cards, dice, and other various games. When he checked his mail and found an invite to a tournament in Domino City, he couldn’t resist. He then spent the next week working on his deck and adding a forest green highlight to his GX era duel disk.His excuse to his parents for entering is that the prize money would give him a chance to start up a decent living, but I think we all know where that would go. He’s more in the tournament to see what people can teach him about Duel Monsters and other games that he doesn’t already know himself. | ||||||||
ECT. Markus plays the game for the game. He doesn't care if he wins or loses, if he learned something from his loss. He likes to flair up things more than they are, and will no doubt love to push the boundaries of the holo-system. Expect him to duel on piers, rooftops, stadiums, theaters, or anywhere else he can chew the scenery. He intentionally didn't study his opponents so as to be surprised by the people he met. He also doesn't pay attention to the news, and only knows passing information from casual table talk as to what is going on in the world. | ||||||||
