Here on Domino City Lights, we do allow members to pick up their favorite canon characters from the Yugioh shows. However, the characters must be altered accordingly to the setting we’re in. So, imagine the characters if they had a relatively normal life in the real world. You can do whatever you want with them, really. Canons characters on this site are basically little fun allowances that have no advantages over original characters other than nostalgia.

We also have a separate type of canon. These are known as canon positions. Any character, even a canon character, can apply for a canon position. However, these positions are considered relatively important on the site. Below is a list of all canon positions available and a list of any canon characters taken.

As the site advances in plot, we will be adding canon positions.

Mayor of Domino; 40+;
    The Mayor of Domino is an energetic man/woman with a youthful appearance. He/She came to the town ten years ago as various industries came in. His/Her campaign was centered on him having watched the town grow into a city. It was his/her idea to host the tournament. The mayor has three children.

Head of the Police Force; 35+
    The year of the police force was raised in one of the small towns before they unified to form Domino. They still have a strong sense of justice and are known to be very hard headed. They dislike duelists and think the holograms are nothing but a nuisance.

Head of Industrial Illusions; 30+ [Reserved]
    A handsome person, the CEO of I2 is known to be charming and capable of talking their way into anything. It's been speculated that the CEO has been puppeting the mayor into allowing the tournament to be hosted in an attempt to push Duel Monsters over the edge.

Museum Curator; 25+
    Newly appointed, the curator just came to Domino to help run the new Museum. They are kept in the dark about the upper floors, but with the opening of the museum, they've been too busy to ask questions, so far.

Duel Shop Owner; 50+
    An elderly man, he owns the largest duel shop in Domino. The shop was originally an antique and game store, but with the recent tournament coming up, he restocked the store completely with Duel Monster tech. As such, his shop has become a Duelist haven, even having a Duelist only club in the basement.
