Dark Magician Girl watched the duel. Her energy stayed about her as she bounced about in the air around the summoned monsters. Whenever Penelope summoned a goat token or a Kuriboh, she’d gasp and declare how adorable it was. When the duel wound down, she would clap her hands widely. ”WONDERFUL! That was such a cute duel!” she cheered, twirling in the air. As the two duelists came together to shake hands, Dark Magician Girl clapped. ”What a great show of sportsmanship!” she chirped off happily. However, shortly after, she grew silent. As Daimonji raised the girl’s hands towards his chest, her coding ran a rather interesting program.
You see, Dark Magician Girl’s true purpose was to sensationalize the duels and make them something everyone would talk about. So, seeing Daimonji and Penelope’s posture, her coding automatically jumped the gun to the most sensational type of reading: romance. Her voice would blast out cheerfully. ”LOOK~! DOMINO CITY’S TOURNAMENT’S FIRST COUPLE~!” she cheered, hearts appearing in the air around her and exploding into small silent fireworks. ”Isn’t this amazing!? Dueling is bringing everyone together!” The blonde would continue to spin happily. There were already images of the two popping up in the air and all over the Duel tournament’s webpages. Sensational.
Then, as if she forget the two existed, Dark Magician Girl would begin cheering out once more. ”ALRIGHT! I’d like to officially announce the tournament’s beginning! From now on, any duelist you see in the street is fair game! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK DUELISTS!” With that, she would spin and vanish into a large explosion of fairy dust and hearts that would rain upon the crowd.

The eyes of the young man would turn toward the reappearance of Dark Magician Girl. She spoke of the adorable nature of the duel and seemed very pleased by that fact. As the two participants shook hands, it seems that Dark Magician Girl had other thoughts, proclaiming the couple for all of the world to see. A chuckle would emit from his lips at the announcement. Shortly there after, DMG would speak of how this was simply the first preset match, it was now open season.
With one hand clenching the strap of his bag and the other in tje air, he would cheer loudly as Dark Magician Girl would vanish and kick off the true event. He would then turn around and quickly leave the arena. As hyped as he was, he had not been to sleep since he arrived in Domino City. If he were to get into a duel now, he wasn't sure if he would be able to handle it. He might very well pass out and did not want his first duel to be like that. Added, he had work the next day so he would have to put that into account but he would surely meet some cool people in his future.
